Designating Your Donation You can choose whether your donation goes to a specific program, such as spay/neuter of stray cats and/or dog transfer or to specific buildings, such as the cat building or the dog building.  You can write us a note in the PayPal message box or send a note with your check.   Our special paypal buttons for programs are listed below:

Donations To Honor Someone Memorials A donation to Safe Haven is a very special memorial for a loved one or friend who has passed away.  Click here for our 2010 Memorials. Home for Life Donations When Safe Haven opens, we will offer Home for Life agreements so that people who wish to bequeath their beloved pets to Safe Haven will have an extra feeling of confidence that their wishes for their pets will be carried out, should they pass away before their pet does. If it is possible for your pet to be adopted,  Safe Haven will provide extra monitoring after adoption to ensure your pet's well-being for the remainder of his/her natural life.This extra monitoring will include regular phone calls to the person who adopts your pet and an annual home check.  This goes beyond our stringent adoption process that includes a home check and a number of follow-up phone calls.  One important benefit is that Safe Haven will provide free veterinary care for your pet even after adoption.    If it is not possible to find a new family for your pet, Safe Haven will provide a loving environment for the rest of your pet's natural life.  Safe Haven is open to discussing with you any special requests that you have for care of your pet.   To participate in the Home for Life program, we ask for special donations, depending on the situation.  For more information, contact: homeforlife@safehavende.org

Memberships Become a Safe Haven Member and contribute to our General Fund.  Our members trust that we will use donations wisely to build our No-Kill sanctuary and care for cats and dogs - now in our community programs and when we open in the next year.  We are very grateful for this trust and we are extremely careful with every dollar.    You can make the full membership payment for the year with the paypal button below.  Or you can make monthly "subscription" payments for a one year period for the memberships levels of $100 and over (see buttons below).  Donating on a monthly basis spreads out your contribution so that it makes hardly a dent on your wallet.

Bequests We all know that wills are the best way to establish how we want our estates distributed.  When you write or amend your will, we hope you will keep Safe Haven in mind.  When you include a bequest for Safe Haven in your will, you are leaving a legacy to care for homeless, needy cats in our cage-free, No-Kill sanctuary.  We would be happy to provide language for your will that will establish your wishes for a bequest to Safe Haven.  If we can be of any assistance, please contact us at bequests@safehavende.org.
